Sisters sledding

My big sisters and I went sledding this afternoon near Meacham in the Blue Mountains. It was a lot of fun for them, even though it was very cold. I stayed in the car and played with my Dad.

Snowy day in early December

My sisters made this cute little snowman!

Getting Christmas tree

I went to get a Christmas tree today.  It was a beautiful sunny day just after a nice snowfall near Jubilee Lake.  We bought a license to cut the tree for $5 and then headed up to the woods where we found a nice tree near enough to the road for me to come along and help cut it.  On the way home my sisters and I played in the snow at a look out point.

Santa photos

Even though we were disappointed that these were not the "real" Santas, we visited a couple of them last weekend to put in our Christmas wishes. Fortunately Oliver didn't pull their beard too hard...

Lucky charm

Coritiba Football Club, my mom's and her family's favorite soccer team, has taken a beating in recent years. Things have gotten so bad for our dear Coxa that they no longer play in the first division. Nonetheless, change may be in the air: this week every time I wore a Coxa outfit on a game day, the team won.

Happy playing

Boy turtle

My first Halloween

We had fun on Halloween. I was a turtle, Sophia was a princess (wearing mom's clothes) and later on a glow in the dark preteen, and Paula was Jasmine. We had fun walking on Main Street where we could see some of our friends and their costumes.

My sisters on Halloween night

This is what my sisters looked like on Halloween night. They were able to keep 15 pieces of candy from their huge loot.

My mom and I

This is my mom. She rarely appears in my blog since she takes the photos.

Paula is my main buddy

I'm beginning to suspect my sister Paula thinks I'm her life-size baby doll. She really takes good care of me.

Soccer games

This is how I watched my sisters play soccer this Fall.

Happy on Sunday

I am a happy boy on a chilly Sunday afternoon. I like to grab things and move my body quite a bit.

Bumble bee with Dad

I enjoy sitting upright on the Baby Bjorn and having my dad carry me around the house.

A fun place to be

This is a cool place I like to hang out for a few minutes at a time while my mom cooks. The seat moves in circles and I can touch my toys.

Short Hiatus

My parents have been busy these past few weeks with a bathroom renovation and homeschooling my sisters, and thus the hiatus in publishing on my blog. We had a short break in Sunriver, Oregon where I experienced a different climate and visited cool lava beds. Back at home, I am a content 3 month-old who goes with the flow. I love going out with my family, and I talk a lot. I sleep well at night and I am starting to grab rattles and blocks people give me. My eyes look brown and we are still waiting for the hair to grow to decide which shade of red it'll be.

Lava beds

My sisters learned a lot at the Lava Beds near Bend.

Sisters

My sisters had fun at the Bend Children's Museum pizza parlor.

Up close

This is what I look like at 11 weeks. Check out my long eyelashes.

In my swing

My great-grandma Lódia gave me a beautiful baby swing. It's the best place for a restful nap.

Stats for 2 month-old

Oliver's newest statistics are: 13lb 10oz (6.2kg) and 24 1/4in (61.6cm); 16 1/4 head circumference. He remains on the 90% percentile of growth. No wonder his 0-3month clothes no longer fit him.

Swim meet

Having a good time while my sisters swim.

Winner sisters

Paula won her first race in Hermiston and took home a watermelon.

8 weeks

Here I am in a Buddha pose while taking an afternoon nap. I have been on outings to more swim meets with my sisters and mom. Soccer season has started and word is out that I am the cutest baby in town!

Paula and me

Paula's been a great companion - and a great helper during bath time.

Bandana quilt

I am seven weeks old today, and I have been growing a lot. I spent some time on my sister Sophia's bandana quilt this weekend which you can see in this picture. My newborn clothes no longer fit me! I continue enjoying my meals and my outings, and one of my favorite activities is seeing the world.

My sisters and I

I spent the weekend with my sisters and mom at a swim meet. My sister Sophia was happy that our team (PSA) won the District championship, as she swam in many events. Paula stayed on dry land and helped our mom and me.
